As Chief of Staff, Carol drives firm-wide strategic alignment on behalf of the executive leadership team. Throughout her career at Sussex, she has provided transformative support to clients, helping them navigate complex policy, regulatory, and stakeholder landscapes.

Drawing on her expertise across diverse sectors, she specializes in multi-year project management, policy analysis,  legislative development, and stakeholder engagement, with experience spanning across government, non-profit, and private sectors. Carol is well positioned to support clients navigating dynamic policy environments, particularly those operating in Ontario’s energy sector.

Prior to Sussex, Carol served in the office of the Premier of Ontario, contributing to major multi‑year initiatives across key portfolios. At the Toronto Region Board of Trade, she supported the President & CEO in strategy execution, board management, and industry collaboration. Carol's experience extends to grassroots engagement, having led electoral strategies during several provincial and federal campaigns.  

She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto and is bilingual in English and Arabic.

Outside of work, Carol enjoys cooking, exploring new cuisines, and travelling.
