Cassie is Sussex's Chief Financial Officer, helping drive the firm's continued growth by combining strategic financial leadership with operational expertise. She specializes in technology and professional services scale-ups, operational leadership, and technology-enabled finance transformation, building the systems and insights organizations need to scale with confidence.

Cassie brings extensive leadership experience across technology, professional services, and security businesses. Before joining Sussex, she served as Head of Finance at Lightship, where she built the finance function from the ground up and helped establish finance as a strategic partner to the business. Working through multiple mergers and acquisitions, she strengthened financial planning, enhanced decision-making, and helped create the operational foundation needed for sustainable growth. Throughout her career, she has modernized finance functions, improved business performance visibility, and helped leadership teams balance financial discipline with the agility required to grow.

She is passionate about transforming the CFO office into a modern, technology-enabled growth driver that turns insight into action and enables organizations to scale more effectively.

Cassie holds graduate degrees from the University of Liverpool and Stanford University. She also serves on the Board of the Association for Financial Professionals, supporting the organization's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) community.

Outside of work, Cassie enjoys cycling, tennis, and hiking.
