Dario is a Senior Associate at Sussex Strategy Group, holding a robust track record in federal government relations, strategic communications, and international affairs.

With experience in a federal ministerial office, the diplomatic corps, and a leading public affairs agency, Dario specializes in bridging the gap between industry leaders and federal decisionmakers. He has successfully advised C-suite executives on complex policy issues across the healthcare, retail, and trade sectors, translating complex legislative files into actionable business intelligence and winning advocacy strategies.

Before entering the consulting space, Dario gained firsthand experience in the federal legislative process as an aide in a Ministerial office, followed by a tenure as a director of public affairs within the diplomatic community. In these roles, he provided high-level counsel on security, defence, and bilateral issues to senior government officials and diplomats.

Dario holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Governance from Toronto Metropolitan University and is dedicated to providing Sussex clients with the strategic insight required to navigate Canada’s evolving political environment.

Outside of consulting, Dario is a proud Reservist in the Royal Canadian Navy and is passionate about promoting healthy and active living.
