His travel writing is regularly published in major dailies across Canada, and he is the author of Falling for London-A Cautionary Tale, a memoir of his experiences with his family during his time as a foreign correspondent, which was acclaimed as “a wonderful story, beautifully told.”

Sean spent more than 30 years as an award-winning journalist, anchor and host, covering major stories across Canada, the United States and around the world.

For Global TV News, he was the London-based Europe Bureau Chief, Queen’s Park Correspondent,  Host-Producer of the influential Focus Ontario program and is a four-time winner of the Radio-Television News Directors Award for excellence in broadcast news.
